  • What happened to vol news?

Got kicked off Twitter for the last time, so I came to fill my empty bucket of vols fandom with Jon and the bois. Why is the first 20 minutes of this podcast just hating women and male cheerleaders? Yall have gone full MAGA I guess… Jon seems reasonable, but I’m just looking for a gameday preview for the Syracuse game. Don’t let me catch either of you two in Atlanta this weekend. I love to argue. And Atlanta doesn’t want your bigotry and nonsense here. Super disappointed.

  • Tony Basilio is a fraud

I was a daily listener but adding the sociopath esque Tony Basilio to the programming is an all time bad move. It degrades the credibility of the station. His strays towards other personalities is completely uncalled for

  • Drive and Talk Sports 5 stars

Cutting Jake and Kress was a horrible idea. It’s trending towards regular sports talk radio. What they had was unique and set them apart, adding Bob has been eh - he gives off an arrogant vibe but his show, even with all his contacts, is very average for sports radio.

The Drive HR 1 7.15
Q: What do you think about whether this running back is worth the money Tennessee is offering?
Chris Low responds that Tennessee views him as potentially a generational talent and that paying top dollar reflects belief in his upside, while acknowledging the risk and the need for long-term development.
The Drive HR 2 6.29.26: Big Picture College Football with Aaron Torres
Q: What are your initial thoughts on the five-year rule for five years to play in college sports?
Torres says the rule is interesting and has potential benefits, especially in basketball, but he remains skeptical about its long-term impact on football and questions whether unintended consequences will emerge once legal considerations come into play.
The Drive HR 2 6.30.26: Great Depression College Football with Davey Hudson
Q: How did the Outkick 250 project originate and evolve?
It started as a retrospective on how sports shaped American conversation, focusing on college football in the 1930s, and evolved into a three-episode documentary series with narrations and extensive archival material to tell the broader cultural story.
The Drive HR 1 6.25.26: Josh Heupel Hot Seat Talk and More with Christopher Gabriel
Q: What are your thoughts on Josh Heupel, the temperature around Tennessee Football heading into 2026?
CG explains he hasn't written off Heupel but believes year six should reflect sustained national competitiveness, notes recruitment gaps, and emphasizes the need for progress in the program's trajectory, recruiting success, and consistency. He cautions that continued underperformance could invite scrutiny from leadership, even if there is broad support for Heupel among some stakeholders.
The Drive HR 2 6.25.26: Tennessee Basketballs' Potential with Coach Gregg Polinsky
Q: What major changes is the Tennessee program making this offseason to adapt to a more balanced roster?

Players must learn to accept different roles and buy into a system that prioritizes team success over individual usage, with a focus on defense and versatility to fit various lineups.
