Me and my Dad love to listen to this after a Tennessee game
God forbid you disagree Tony. He is as sensitive as they come. It’s also hard to listen to his show because half of it is his on air sponsor list.
I’ve been listening to Tony for decades thanks to my Dad listening to him as I was growing up but now listen to every show thanks to the podcast. There is no better place for UT sports talk than the TB network. I’m a UT grad living in KY and listening to the show makes me feel closer to home. He’s as much of a tradition for me as Rocky Top and running through the T.
I love Tony but the constant “sky is falling” attitude of the cohosts is beyond tired. And the perpetual backhanded, passive aggressive jabs at players and coaches gets old. Tony and co refuse to believe the team is good and the coaches are smart. It’s just exhausting listening to constant bickering and complaining. And no, I’m not a sheep who needs to be coddled. But a little bit of catching your breath once in a while would go a long way.
Tony allows callers only to mock them if they disagree with him.

This show is a high-energy, Tennessee sports-focused program that blends long-form analysis with caller interaction and sponsor reads. Episodes regularly cover UT baseball and basketball, with deep dives into roster decisions, coaching dynamics, NIL, and transfer portal implications, all set against a regional SEC backdrop. A standout trait is the strong local community feel, frequent guest segments from coaches and analysts, and a steady stream of sponsor integrations driving a dedicated Knoxville/East Tennessee audience. The format tends to mix game analysis, season-long strategy, and market-driven discussions about college athletics economics, making it appealing to fans who want both insider context and frank, fan-driven banter.
