  • Guest’s gratuitous use of profanity hurts your brand

Had to turn you off. Guest Chris Marler and his unnecessary, childish, gratuitous use of profanity is a detriment to the brand. I won’t be listening in the future when he is a guest.

  • Marler Mondays

Get rid of Marler Mondays and that's an automatic 4 star rating. Mike stops rage baiting, then it can be bumped up to 5. Not a fan of the blowhards that use trolling to get engagement.

The three stars are solely for Cousin Shane.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

SEC Teams Most Likely to Crash & Burn? Will SEC Win It All in 2026? Pat Smith of WJOX Radio Interview!
Q: Do you think Alabama can win a national championship this season?
The hosts acknowledge Alabama's stability and recruiting strength but emphasize the new SEC dynamics, the ninth game, and the evolving landscape making the path to a championship more challenging though still plausible with strong quarterback play and consistent performance.
SEC Teams Most Likely to Crash & Burn? Will SEC Win It All in 2026? Pat Smith of WJOX Radio Interview!
Q: Which SEC team is most likely to crash and burn this fall?
Pat Smith points to Texas A&M as a prime candidate due to high expectations, transitional dynamics under coach Mike Elko, and past performance fluctuations, while also noting concerns around quarterback play and scoring ability.
Why College Football Playoff Will NOT Be Expanding -- Despite Contrary Rumors: Matt Hayes Interview
Q: Who do you think will be under the most pressure to make the playoff in this era of a 12-team format?
LSU, Texas, Alabama, and a few others carry heavy expectations due to investment and recent performance, with Alabama in particular facing scrutiny over results and coaching decisions.
Why College Football Playoff Will NOT Be Expanding -- Despite Contrary Rumors: Matt Hayes Interview
Q: What do you think is the hottest topic at the SEC Spring Meetings regarding the playoff format?
There is a clear split between those who want the 24-team expansion and those who want to preserve the current structure; the meetings will try to align coaches and presidents, but the SEC's preferences and their TV partnerships heavily influence the outcome.
Why Tennessee Football Being Doubted Despite Winning Offseason? Eric Cain Interview!
Q: Has Heupel rotated quarterbacks before, and do you expect that to happen this season at Tennessee?
From what I've seen, Heupel hasn't routinely rotated quarterbacks at UCF or Missouri, and I don't expect him to rotate in Tennessee unless there's a clear underperformance or injury scenario; it's more likely that one starter will take the majority of reps with the other rotating in as needed.
