Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Defeat by Spurs, James Trafford, referring etc with former ref and City fan Scott Mathieson
Q: Should James Trafford not be available for Brighton because he would have been sent off?
Scott believes there were enough offenses committed to warrant a red card, emphasizing the referee's viewpoint.
Earl Barrett & Nick Stapleton on FA Cup Final, Henderson Red Card & Pep's team selection
Q: Will City get over the line in the last two matches?
I think City can secure points needed for Champions League qualification, although they need to be cautious of their opponents.
Earl Barrett & Nick Stapleton on FA Cup Final, Henderson Red Card & Pep's team selection
Q: What are your thoughts on the team selections made by Pep Guardiola?
I was surprised to see certain players not in the lineup and felt it was a gamble that didn't pay off in crucial moments of the game.
Earl Barrett & Nick Stapleton on FA Cup Final, Henderson Red Card & Pep's team selection
Q: What about the crowd atmosphere during the game?
Palace fans are always loud, and they have a strong fan base, making the atmosphere less exciting for City fans compared to the usual excitement.
Earl Barrett & Nick Stapleton on FA Cup Final, Henderson Red Card & Pep's team selection
Q: What do you think about the penalty decision and how does it get decided?
In the past, there were designated penalty takers, and there wasn't any argument. I think players should show more selfishness in front of goal.
