  • Good pod but…

…why do podcasters think mispronouncing a player’s name is amusing? If they want to be taking seriously, it’s really not that difficult to find out. Unlike many of his peers David is an actual broadcaster and ought to know better.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S16 Ep38: All or Lots or Some (or Around 80%) is Forgiven
Q: Daniel is worried about City's Wembley know-how. How big a factor do you think that could be this weekend?
Yeah, definitely. I mean, not as confident these days, but there was a season everyone was going to Etihad South and all that. I think that's definitely a factor, but also I don't want to say it.
S16 Ep38: All or Lots or Some (or Around 80%) is Forgiven
Q: Phil, give us some reason to be calm now, because you can look at this with a neutral eye. The top five as it stands, City in third on 61 points, Forest in fourth on 60 points with a game in hand, Newcastle in fifth on 59 with a game in hand. Can you make the case that City are going to make it for us, please?
I can, because at this time of the season, Manchester City are used to the pressures of, in recent seasons, chasing titles. They've starting to play a little bit better and the tempo has come back into the game a little bit more.
S16 Ep34: The Eternal Spinning Toast
Q: What are your hopes for the Leicester game on Wednesday?
Fans are not expecting much and just want to see effort from the players, acknowledging the team's poor performance this season.
S16 Ep34: The Eternal Spinning Toast
Q: What do you think Leicester's situation is going to be moving forward?
Leicester is currently struggling and fans are worried about relegation, with many having lost faith in the management and club direction.
S16 Ep29: Can You Play the False Nine Role?
Q: What are your predictions for the upcoming match against Liverpool?
Predictions vary, with some believing City can perform well and aim for a win, while others express cautious optimism considering the team's recent inconsistencies.
