  • Inane Rambling

Some of the guys consistently deliver entertaining and interesting narratives but for the love of god please consider providing Joe Butterfield with some vocal coaching. He is habitually verbose and mealy-mouthed. His inane and circumlocutory commentary is hard to follow and exhausting. Bottom line, contribute substantive and concise thoughts, and stop repeating what others just shared.

P.S. Amos, stop interrupting others. I can’t hear you when others are talking.

  • Great Listen

I have been listening for a couple of years now, solid insight and information. Great to listen during the highs and during the lows. Start banging the drum for Claudio Echeverri, he will make a difference immediately.

  • Difficult listen

The entitlement on show by the guys is shocking. Instead of constantly insulting the teams beating City they should try to dig a bit deeper into the terminal decline of the team. It’s hard to take the losses but let’s keep the standards up. We’re not arsenal.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Can City pick up a less stressful win against Sunderland this weekend?
Q: How do you expect the game to go against City?
I think it'll be tight and I'll be happy with that, if it is tight. We've not been spanked this season so far, which is just worrying.
The Coffee Corner: Pep's tactical evolutions, matchday pies and pints, and more!
Q: Which current US men's national team player would fit into City's squad the most?
Chris Richards and Tyler Adams were suggested, with Richards standing out as a solid defender who would complement City's current lineup well.
The Coffee Corner: Pep's tactical evolutions, matchday pies and pints, and more!
Q: How do you view Foden's recent role in the team? Is he back to his 2023-24 level?
Foden has evolved and his current role may be more influential than the previous season, focusing on team dynamics rather than sheer goal contributions.
The Coffee Corner: Pep's tactical evolutions, matchday pies and pints, and more!
Q: Do you think Rodri, once fit, walks into the squad and how will you fit Rodri, Nico Gonzalez, and others into the team?
Rodri is expected to return, but there are strong players like Nico Gonzalez who can also hold up the midfield, potentially allowing Rodri to ease back into play instead of rushing him.
Previewing Man City's massive PL clash with Liverpool
Q: Do you fear this Liverpool team?
To a degree. If those peak Klopp teams were like fear factor 10, this is more like a 6 or a 7.
