For any Man City fan, or anyone who enjoys balanced opinions on all things City, this is definitely a podcast worth listening to. I started out watching Stevenโ€™s YouTube channel and have always enjoyed his takes and content. With his new podcast, he brings on other fans like himself, as well as people from the Man City community, and itโ€™s always quality content. Iโ€™d highly recommend it to anyone whoโ€™s a fan of the game

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Could Ruben Dias leave Man City? | The City Social
Q: Could Ruben Dias move to Real Madrid, and what factors would influence such a decision?
A move to Real Madrid is considered plausible due to Dias's leadership and personality, but it would depend on whether the club believes he can still contribute in big moments and whether Maresca's system supports a role for a veteran figure; timing and assurances from City would be crucial.
Could Ruben Dias leave Man City? | The City Social
Q: What is the likelihood that Ruben Dias remains a central figure in City's defense under Maresca, given Gavardiol, Gahey, and Kusanov's emergence?
The hosts suggest that Dias could realistically become the fourth-choice center back, especially if Maresca assigns defined roles to the newer talents; Dias would still be valuable for leadership and depth, but his on-pitch role may be reduced unless injuries or tactical needs force his inclusion.
The truth of working with Pep Guardiola | The City Social
Q: What was it like working around Guardiola?
Arielle describes Guardiola's extreme detail orientation as seeping into every operation at City, from training to the media team, creating a highly efficient, tightly controlled environment that still allowed spontaneous moments but always with a clear goal toward performance and excellence.
Are Man City better than Arsenal? | The City Social
Q: How good is this City side right now?
The guest and host agree that City are the best team in the league, have faced a phased squad rebuild, and remain capable of high-level performances as they push for more trophies, with a strong core that should keep them competitive next season.
Has Guardiola changed at Man City? | The City Social
Q: What did you ask him today?
I pressed on the familiar Amazon clip theme and asked whether everyone is up for it regardless of fatigue, though the response didn't yield a breakthrough moment this time.
