Exploring the world inside and outside the evangelical subculture, one conversation at a time. On this podcast, you'll hear stories of people who've left evangelicalism for o... more

The voices on this podcast are much needed, especially during these times. I’ve been a listener since near the beginning of the podcast in 2016, just as I was leaving evangelicalism. 1st episode has a lot of swearing. Says the podcast is rated clean. I could be interested in the dialogue but not interested in crass speech. Almost like the podcaster and his guest are using their new found “freedom” from evangelicalism to swear and think they sound cool. They don’t.
This is a voice we need. You fill a niche, Blake, that is not being filled. We need you. Keep it going. I’m new to your podcast but hanging on every word. I’m an X-vangelical too. I think there are a lot of us out here. Refusing to compromise our faith over a mobster cult like worship of someone whom doesn’t hold the honor or integrity required for any public service position, let alone president, which he has mistaken for king. We need your voice. We all need each other in this space. We can ma... more

I tried to hear the episode with Sarah McCammon as my debut to this podcast but it wasn’t listenable- it skipped throughout like an old cd and I couldn’t decipher it. I’m soooo bummed. Can someone fix this please? Or maybe it was just me?
I know I will love this podcast but seriously this is a big disappointment.
