This ain't your pastor's Bible podcast. This is a deep interrogation of the book, and we're bringing receipts. Bible scholar Dr. Dan McClellan and atheist podcaster Dan Beecher team up to discover what the Bible actually says, what it decidedly doesn't say (even if everyone thinks it does), and explore the history of the most popular book of all time.

I’m a pastor and I love this podcast. The discussions feel deep yet accessible for non-scholars, and the Dans know how to have fun while having these discussions. I highly recommend this for anyone who is interested in Biblical scholarship and is open to hearing points of view which challenge traditional interpretations.
I have followed Dan McClellan on til tok for years. The content of the podcast is exactly what it claims to be, which is “increase public access to the academic study of the Bible and religion, and (they) combat the spread of misinformation about the same”. They are spreading misinformation about it.... more
Dan asked and he shall receive. I love this show. It’s helped me wrestle with my dismantling of the Bible. I learn so much! I also laugh. And get most of the in jokes.
As someone who enjoys biblical scholarship, I find this podcast to be the perfect balance of information and entertainment. Keep it up boys!
