  • A Must Listen!

SWAJ has been a breath of fresh air for me. I found them right after Trump was elected (2016) and needed to make sense of how and why this happened, stayed because all the conversations about “hot button” topics are so important and spot on, and have remained engaged through the insanitary of a 2nd Trump administration.— not to mention, the deconstruction of my faith (from growing up within evangelicalism/ fundamentalism) has been painful, confusing and isolating at times- and the conversations ... more

  • Reflects my Faith

This mob are pretty special. I spent 53 years in mission and community development and I don’t find this mob the least bit offensive. Far from it. Folks like me are mostly digging in deep to our beliefs and so are these folks. Also their theological framework gives a fairly obvious reflection on the current (2026) US Administration.

  • This should be listened to by all of those who follow the suffering servant savior Christ.

This show really helps me a get a more legitimate grasp of Christ. God incarnate who did not try set a regime, but died for everyone, without resistance or fight. This perspective here, slaps Christian Nationalism in the face.

  • Christian Teaching Style Undermines Content

The premise of this show is interesting and I believe that the hosts are earnest in what they are attempting to do. However, as I listen to it it falls into the the trap of Christian teaching style which is stating a point slowly and repeating it but never actually substantiating the point. It’s a subtle this is true because I say it is true that plagues churches. Spend an hour in a JW meeting and this exact style is on display. It’s a form of trust me bro that can be particularly damaging when ... more
