I really like the overall idea of this pod and enjoy it in concept. Often I find I wish the hosts could focus and shorten the episodes. Long time listener means I know the leanings and we can have fewer rants and more intention allowing for the great content I tune in for. I cannot listen live so I do find the live content to be part of the length issue. Appreciate the passion and content but the yelling needs to come down a notch.
Just because The Bible contains slavery does not mean it condones it. The entire Bible is about ending slavery literally and spiritually.
God parted The Red Sea, to help the Jewish people escape slavery. The Bible itself is split into two sections, before Jesus and after Jesus. For that very reason, the timeline of history is split into before Christ BC and after Christ AD (Anno Domini, which means "in the year our Lord").
