  • A vital voice in the era of ascendant Christian Nationalism

Monte Mader has a command of the history, politics, context, and language of Christian Nationalists hard won from inside the movement. Her perspective and work through Flipping Tables and her other platforms are mighty gifts to all who wish to oppose Christian Nationalism. I’ve listened to every episode of this podcast and found myself “saving” every other one to return to and take notes.

  • Pagan Buddhist here learning

I was raised pagan and practice Buddhism now, hearing all this about the harm inside the Evangelical movement has helped me make a lot of sense about the way I was treated. I’ve spent a lot of my young adult life recovering from hating Christianity because of how cruelly Christians would treat me when they learned I was different. Hearing Monte share stories about Christians who use their faith to protect those who are different (including Monte herself) is healing.
