At worst, it fronts and recruits for the fever-dream of QAnon. As the alt-right and New Age horseshoe toward each other in a blur of disinformation, clear discourse, and good intentions get smothered. Charismatic influencers exploit their f... more

  • Really wanted to like this show

I can’t trust the research that goes into a show if you’re mispronouncing names of main characters. Several episodes in, there’s just too much sloppiness, from mouth noises and room ambience in the narrator’s mic to patently uncritical stances with unnamed (thus hidden) biases posing as neutral. It’s a terrible waste because the concept behind the show is a good one, it’s just the execution that’s lazy.

But please say “of Jesus” not “Jesus’s” which sounds like Jesuszez and distorts the name so much.
