  • Delightful host and wholesome show!

Mari is such a great host - she definitely has the personality and voice for podcasting! She shares relatable content so authentically and eloquently. The episodes with featured guests are engaging and interesting, especially the ones with her husband Trey. I always feel encouraged and uplifted after listening to this show. 💗

Unfortunately the audio quality wasn’t great on the episode about non-toxic living, which made me sad because it’s a topic I’m very interested in.

  • Hey Mari! Love the show!

This podcast has been such a gift to me since I don’t have many girls around me to serve as mentors or give guidance on life.

A request for Mari, can you please do an episode on books, talks, resources that you recommend for engaged couples?

I am getting married in a few months and want some thing to get me fired up and really excited about the sacrament itself and its significance. for whatever you recommend for this season of life in general.

    I appreciate it very much!

    Sending love!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Re-Run: What You Didn't Know About Mary | Paul J. Kim
Q: What would you say to someone who is hesitant about Mary?
Treat Mary as a loving mother figure and begin with a simple prayer, gradually deepening devotion while recognizing she points to Jesus, not replaces him.
Re-Run: What You Didn't Know About Mary | Paul J. Kim
Q: How does Mary fit into biblical salvation history for you?
He explains typology and scripture, showing Mary as the New Eve and the Ark of the New Covenant, with Christ's salvific work prefigured and fulfilled through her.
Re-Run: What You Didn't Know About Mary | Paul J. Kim
Q: What sparked your relationship with Mary and what moment started your conversion?
He describes how the rosary and Mary's intercession gently pulled him back toward faith, leading to a renewed life of prayer, confession, and Eucharist.
Re-Run: What Every Woman Should Know In Her 20s | Sarah Swafford
Q: How should someone approach singleness in their 20s with joy or resilience?
acknowledge the difficulty, validate feelings of frustration, and recognize that seasons of waiting can still be meaningful. It's okay to feel not-bubbly about the wait; you can still pursue growth, friendships, and prayer, trusting that God's plan is larger than a single timeline. Build a supportive community, invest in your own growth, and remember that God is working behind the scenes in tangible, yet sometimes unseen, ways.
Re-Run: What Every Woman Should Know In Her 20s | Sarah Swafford
Q: What advice do you have for women navigating the dating scene in their 20s?
The core guidance is to breathe, set a different standard from the world, and understand that choosing to wait and pursue virtue is a meaningful 'yes' to a worthy future partner. Focus on heart formation first, recognize you are not meant to be anyone's savior or anyone's everything, and seek a partner who runs toward the Lord beside you rather than trying to replace God.
