Mike and Alicia, thank you for being the older brother and sister that you strive to be! As a father of a young family, I learn so much from your experiences and insights, and you are constantly informing how I strive to lead my family in this current season as well as helping me develop intentional plans for the years ahead. I am so grateful for your witness, humility, and love for the Lord!
Wow. My heart is a little broken. I am all about systems, confronting the worldly issues, and preparing our kids souls for heaven...but I am just so saddened to hear the bit where the art form of dance is attacked. My daughter has dance in her bones, she dances for Jesus, and to hear the guest so abruptly attack female cheerleaders...just wow. I love this podcast, I live creating a family for the world and not of it, but to just so quickly bash an entire career, yikes. I'm glad I didn't have it ... more
I stumbled upon this podcast during the pandemic. I figured if they have 10 kids, they might be able to teach me a thing or two with only three. Wow boy have they ever! Any mess you find yourself in, I can bet they have a talk, resource, or book available to discuss it. We’ve even done a couples retreat with the... more
I am not even Catholic and find myself listening to the Hernons so often, with such appreciation for their conversations and family and faith and parenting. Thank you!
I really tried to like this show because so many fellow Catholics have recommended it. But it just falls flat for me. Maybe because I don’t like all the banter and chattiness? This felt a lot like overhearing a really loud couple sitting too close to you at a restaurant. Just not for me.
