  • Let the guests talk …

I tried two recent episodes and can’t continue. The host talks more than her guests (mostly about herself) and has very distracting speaking mannerisms. Good topics covered, but needs cleaned up.

  • Host is okay with racism

At first I was super excited to get into this podcast, I’ve been getting closer to my Catholic roots and was excited to see a podcast by a woman. Then I heard her take on Charlie Kirk. She never once mentioned how harmful his rhetoric was nor how racist he was. Instead, he highlighted how “good” of a Christian he was. I saw someone call her out in the comments and she refused to see how any of it was racist. Insanely disappointing from a Catholic, you cannot claim to be Christian and spew as muc... more

  • Lovely and Thoughtful

I just listened to the dinner party podcast and it was very well done. There were good questions and informative answers. For an over-50 woman, it was lovely to listen to and learn from! Perhaps I will even push my introverted self to host a party!

Talking Points

The Sex Advice You Didn't Get in Marriage Prep: Real Talk About Theology, Mechanics, and Pleasure
Q: How can women prepare physically to avoid pain during sex and improve arousal and orgasm?
Ensure adequate foreplay, address lubrication (prefer oils or silicone-based lubes over coconut oil), consider pelvic floor health if pain persists, and explore anatomy education to better understand stimulation and orgasm.
The Sex Advice You Didn't Get in Marriage Prep: Real Talk About Theology, Mechanics, and Pleasure
Q: So let's talk about what the church says about sex and marriage, what is allowed, what is not allowed, in a basic overview.
The church teaches the inseparability of the unitive and procreative purposes of sex; contraception, IVF, and severing procreative from unitive purposes are cautioned against, while foreplay and natural lubrication are important for a healthy, moral sexual life within marriage.
The Catholic Woman's Guide to Neurodivergency: Signs, Diagnosis, Spiritual Peace, and Practical Help
Q: What does neurodivergence mean in practical terms for families, and how can Catholic women navigate this with their children?
Ginny explains neurodivergence as an umbrella term for brains wired differently, affecting processes like executive function, working memory, sensory regulation, and emotion. She emphasizes seeing gifts, pursuing appropriate supports, and grounding parenting in faith, community, and growth mindset rather than shame.
How to Know If He's Marriage Material (4 Trust Tests Every Catholic Woman Needs)
Q: At what point in a relationship do you bring up being Catholic?
Bring it up immediately and clearly, making faith an upfront, non-negotiable part of the picture, for example by noting church involvement and Mass plans in weekend activities.
The Food Industry Was Designed to Hook You: The Truth About Food Addiction and Reclaiming Your Freedom
Q: What are common misconceptions about food addiction and spiritual discipline?
The episode emphasizes that food addiction is not a moral failing, but an illness; spirituality offers tools (like prayer and community) to fight stigma and lies, and recovery is aided by approaching it with compassion, not judgment.
