  • I'm so glad Claire's back! I love this podcast. Claire's topics are fascinating, and she explains things very well. If you haven't listened to her series of episodes on Shakespeare yet, you should, especially the episode on whether Christopher Marlowe wrote Shakespeare's plays. It's deliciously creepy and yet plausible.

  • Please could all podcast producers take leaf out of this book

I wish I’d found this ages ago!

So carefully and thoughtfully constructed. So clearly delivered. Such a real human voice. It draws me in even when it has been a story I already know. So careful to recognise contributions from others.

  • I love this podcast so much

I mean, there’s not much more I can say.

I love this podcast so much, every episode has me thoroughly fascinated, amused, shocked, and a plethora of other emotions.

It’s such a niche subject too that I have not managed to find anything else like it on the interwebs anywhere. At least nothing even remotely as entertaining.

It tickles all my language nerd needs as well as my thirst for random interesting things covering a vast breadth of subjects and it’s just the best.

    I love it.
