I'm so glad Claire's back! I love this podcast. Claire's topics are fascinating, and she explains things very well. If you haven't listened to her series of episodes on Shakespeare yet, you should, especially the episode on whether Christopher Marlowe wrote Shakespeare's plays. It's deliciously creepy and yet plausible.
I wish I’d found this ages ago!

And I really appreciate the voice only option. Sometimes the backgrounds in podcasts and voice radio clash horribly with my tinnitus - voice only makes it listenable.

I just discovered this podcast and when i saw that the last part of the shakespeare slow burn hasn’t been uploaded and the last one to upload was from 2021 i almost cried. PLEASE make more. This is the best podcast I’ve ever listened to!
I mean, there’s not much more I can say.
I love this podcast so much, every episode has me thoroughly fascinated, amused, shocked, and a plethora of other emotions.
It’s such a niche subject too that I have not managed to find anything else like it on the interwebs anywhere. At least nothing even remotely as entertaining.
It tickles all my language nerd needs as well as my thirst for random interesting things covering a vast breadth of subjects and it’s just the best.
I love it.
As someone fascinated by language and drawn to listening to true crime, this podcast is everything. I've learned so much and am only more enthralled. I can barely wait for the next season 💙
