I had to give up listening to half of the episodes became of the awful audio. By “awful” I mean headache inducing, not just the lackluster reading.
I love that there are no ads, and I quite like the ambient music at the beginning of each episode. But please, please, hire some acting or voice over talent to narrate them, not the writers themselves, unless they are actors! At the very least, please invest in some high quality microphones! Even good content cannot be heard if it is not delivered in a professional way. I know it’s a catch- 22. I’ve read EQ magazine since I was in high school so I welcome the podcasts. But the editor doesn’t need to be the narrator. Plus some of the others who read the stories need to be replaced. Sigh but stories need to be read by professionals not just someone multitasking
