4.5 out of 5 stars from 580 ratings
  • Mike Flanagan, Andre Øvredal and Quentin Tarantino…

… interviews are exceptional. Five stars for this intelligent, reflective and engaging trio alone.

  • You've gotta hear the Joe Hill one

It's amazing. It's from 10/20. You've got this privileged, connected little rich boy who's never worked a day in his life shooting his ignorant, smug mouth off about Trump's response to covid. The fact he forgot to mention Trump is the only reason we even got a vaccine so fast aside, think about where we are now. Joe Biden, who ran saying he has a plan and guaranteeing he'd shut covid down, said yesterday that states are "on their own". Hahahaha! How you feeling now little rich boy Joey?

  • Almost every episode is great, others really good

Hugely thankful to Eli for starting this podcast - but it did improve immensely when he handed over hosting duties. The Edgar Wright episode in season 3 is like a horror filmmaker’s encyclopedia.

  • This is one of my go-to horror podcasts. I was honored to be included with it on Podchaser's lists of podcasts to discover in November! It's the companion podcast to the History of Horror television show, highlighting longform uncensored interviews from horror professionals shown on the tv show. Want almost two hours with Stephen King and Tom Savini? This is your podcast. Eli Roth is that perfect horror professional--intellectual and intelligent, but always willing to admit what he doesn't know,... more

  • Almost perfect

Shorten up those transitions, pal. 15+ seconds of dead air is unacceptable.
