  • Guests sound quality

As an ed-tech professional I really appreciate what you do and the good of though you provide. But what a torture it is sometimes to listen to your guest in terms of sound quality. Talking from AirPods, straight to the laptop mic, or whatnot, it’s hard to understand what they are saying sometimes. Maybe you could ask them to record a separate audio file to their iPhone. Even that would probably be better than AirPods

From AI Policing to AI Coaching: Jason Katcher of Superhuman on Education’s Next Shift
Q: What best practices for how edtech companies can sell into that future and build partnerships?
Focus on three non-negotiables: make users more productive, improve retention amid teacher shortages, and prove ROI with clear, dollar-based benefits; align with existing ecosystems and demonstrate value within current workflows.
AI, Jobs, and What Comes Next with Kumar Garg of Renaissance Philanthropy
Q: Five years from now, what does the philanthropic space look like and how will forecasting and Ren Phil's approach shape it?
The space will likely see a continued expansion of wealth and giving capacity, but the real impact will come from deploying capital through thesis-driven funds that can move resources toward scalable, evidence-based social impact; Ren Phil expects both numerator (giving) to grow and numerator to be actively leveraged through strategic partnerships and data-informed decisions.

The Forecast Hub was created to systematically reason about the future amidst uncertainty, leveraging forecasting methods and communities like Metaculous to gather diverse perspectives, track data, and update forecasts as new information becomes available, with the aim of informing policymakers, decision-makers, and data owners.
