  • The cover art is so bad

Visual branding on this podcast, it’s just so bad it looks like a five year old with a Canva account created it.

  • Kathryn and Gideon are a Delightful Bonus!!!

After finally watching Homeland over the past couple months, where I’d grown very fond of Saul Berenson and didn’t want to let him go, I discovered this podcast, and it’s another Lemonada balm for my soul (Wiser, anyone?). I know Mandy isn’t Saul, but also know that Saul would not have been Saul without Mandy. Turns out I was right! Now I get to continue hearing (but not listening to) Mandy and got to discover his wife and one of his children who are each fabulous in their own right. This family... more

  • Roasting versus Baking

Roasting is done at a higher temperature than baking. Roasting is done at 400°F or higher. Baking is done at 400°F or lower. With roasting you are trying to get a caramelized, crispy exterior. Baking is about taking it from a non-solid form to a solid form. ie. like baked goods.

I love Don’t Listen To Us! It feels like I’m back in ny with my family in the best way.

I could say so much more but I’ll address the ads, which I understand irritate some people, sometimes me too. They don’t bother me here though because I get drawn in listening to Mandy, Kathryn or Gideon. Bonus! Just don’t ask me what they’re about. ooxx
