Dan goes off the grid (11:00 to skip). Turns out Bobbie has fallen for the propaganda, and Avasarala is a terrible boss. Taste your soup before you add salt, folks! more
Dan learns the rules of basketball (9:35 to skip), then we give our takes on the first episode of The Expanse TV show (up to 23:15, then book talk). Now we know the key to being a powerful politician: distracting snacks. Now that we're in space it's ... more
Luke and Dan complain about modern life (08:30 to skip). Fred is either a lucky idiot or a tactical genius and there is no room for error. Also, how about we bring it on back? I know a lot is going on right now, but we would all love if you could jus... more

Found this podcast by searching for anyone talking about The Library at Mount Char and found a new favorite! The conversations about books are casual but still thoughtful and most importantly they have great taste in books! Bingeing all of the Brandon Sanderson episodes now, hope they’ll read Mistborn.

I like what they’re setting out to do but the way they go about it just isn’t for me. Their discussions are jumbled and it’s hard to follow. They tend to miss the large plot and character points and instead go off on tangents about seemingly insignificant details. And also tend to nit pick without any sense of thoughtful discussion.
Have you ever read an amazing Sci-Fi or Fantasy and you have no one to talk to or bounce theories off of? Well, Luke and Daniel satisfy with their commentary over some of the best SFF out there. Ranging from wacky to woke, ‘Don’t Call It a Bookclub’ is a satisfying book hangover remedy.
I highly appreciate the Hyperion episodes as a recap before jumping into the second book. The hosts are pretty goofy. They go off topic every so often, but I don’t mind that.
