I really recommend this for beginners! It takes the intimidation away from running your own game and, gives you the tips are tricks you need to run it successfully.
Mr. Russ and Mr. Sean are both essential to your journey into the world as a DM/GM. Their witty, yet informational commentary can also give you many creative ideas without pushing you to any specific game that you need to run first. You can easily take their info and run with it! (Yes, pun intended. 😂)

Kickass podcast that answers all of your questions and then some. Highly recommended to anyone interested in the RPG world.
This show got an immediate subscribe from me. What a fantastic show that is educational, informational, and gives a great perspective for anyone interested in tabletop gaming.
Very much recommended!
I dunno why no one has given this a review yet! This is by far the best help you’ll get from a podcast on how to run a campaign!
Well mastered from the first episode, and full of content and sound advice through to the latest. Keep up the good work, cos I’m gonna need all the help I can get starting my new (and first proper actual) campaign!
I am finding this to be a very valuable resource as I get more into GMing! I think it'd even be useful as a player. It gives you some good ideas of what to do and what not to do... Thanks guys! Added to the feed.
Whether you’re a DM or a GM, you’re going to get some great advice on how to make your game better here. Both hosts, and all the guests bring unique perspectives to running a game, and I’ve gotten a ton of great tips from every show, even those that focus mainly on systems I don’t currently use. Highly recommended for anyone who is running or wants to run a TTRPG regardless of their level of experience.
Not only is this podcast run by two of the most lovely people, it also has helped me a lot to inprove my own games. Russ and Sean, as are all the other people on their discord are always there to help one out if you have questions.
This is great. Wish there were more episodes, but what is here is good, friendly, knowledgable, open-minded advice. A good proportion is D&D5e, which makes sense as it’s the most popular RPG, but even then it’s often taking the base game and adding something extra (can the Tabaxi be a space-faring cat species? Sure, go ahead). I’m enjoying the coverage of the other systems too - I particularly liked the monster of the week episode.
