  • writer’s podcast focused on business

One of the few podcasts for writers that focuses on the business side. Others will have episodes on various business aspects, but Ditch Diggers makes business of writing discussions their purpose. Especially writers wanting to publish traditional, this information is essential. Excellent work guys!

  • Practical, Funny, and a kick in the pants

No Ditch Digger block, no writer’s blog, no not feeling inspired. Just focus on practical, effective tips on actually being an amazing author! No more excuses. Listen. Then write.

  • Pleasantly Surprised

I wasn't impressed with Matt Wallace from his Good Cop/Bad Cop shows. I felt like whatever good advice he may have given was tarnished by having to listen to his toxic BS.

Here though, he is thoughtful, insightful, and generally fun to listen to. He and Mur have lots to say and I am enjoying going through the past episodes.

  • advice from little known writers, take a pinch of salt

A couple of just-published, middle-aged writers you probably haven't heard of get drunk with more successful peers and dispense over-wrought tough love to wannabes. Mur is recovering from a failed brush with urban fantasy. Matt talks tough to try to hide his broken snowflake-crystal ego. Their recent analysis of comic writing, unfazed by their intrinsic humourlessness, was almost a dictionary entry for "ironic".
