They’ve got episodes about basics and plent of eps just about all sorts of other topics. A great resource for anyone wanting to learn about Dungeon World.

Full Disclosure - I’ve only listened to the Dungeon World Basics episodes. But on the strength of those alone, 5 stars. I’ve been deep in crunchy, rules-heavy RPGs for 30+ yrs. and this really helped me grasp a more story-telling rule set in a way that finally appeals to me.

Great show to help those that need advice or just some good ideas to help jumpstart your games.

This is a fantastic podcast and not just for the titular game Dungeon World. It is very cleverly structured, a bit like a magazine with regular features (inspired by Dragon magazine from TSR). It also has a comic strip-like role playing segment which provides a live DW campaign with one host as GM and the other as the player that functions really well to illustrate DW. I can't imagine a better podcast dedicated to Dungeon World, one of my favorite games. The quality is excellent from the word go, and has been kept up for over 50 episodes. If you're interested in Dungeon World either as a player or GM, I recommend this podcast. Heck, even if you couldn't care less about Dungeon World, you should give it a listen; so much of the content and advice in here is applicable to other games.

Simply put-this is one of the best tabletop rpg podcasts out there.

If you play DW, grab a playbook and start at Episode 1. High quality and insightful discussion of the interior workings of the game, and so many goodies on offer (supplements, items, rules alternatives, etc.). I make a list each episode, and always come away from the half hour with something great. This is the true successor to the gaming mags of old!

I'm working on a Dugeon World campaign and found this podcast through some searching on Overcast. It is a top quality podcast, that has something for everyone. I'm starting from the very beginning and have found something to look up and read further up on in every episode. These guys are going to cost me some money for sure. Keep up the great work!

Jason and David really do a fantastic job exploring all the nooks and crannies of the amazing Dungeon World system. With Discern Realities you get just about everything you could ask for if you're an aspiring DM wanting to learn more about the game. All that said, a lot of the topics they cover can actually be applied to any system, so fans of the hobby in general owe it to themselves to check the show out!

Every episode imparts wisdom. Every AP is interesting and informative. The hosts are smart and funny and share a lot of really useful information for players of a range of role playing games (especially Dungwon World of course). This podcast drew me into the game and a wonderful community of players.
