great insight and fun stories from some of my favorite commentators of my favorite sport ⚽️. nick is a very good interviewer as well.
I've been lucky to listen to this podcast from its start. As a rugby fan, I started with it predominantly for the rugby commentators covered. However, one of the joys for me has been discovering those covering sports that I don't usually pay much attention to. It's fascinating to hear the stories behind their route to the microphone. Fantastic podcast. Some great stories from some iconic commentators. Well worth a listen!

The relatively untapped world of the sports commentator is brought to life through the best of the best in broadcasting. They have wonderful stories to share of the sports but from a different angle. The likes of Clive Tyldesley, Miles Harrison, Jon Champion and Ian Darke highlight the dedication, preparation and humanity that goes into commentary, aided by a fantastically engaging and witty host in Nick Heath.
