This is an excellent podcast that focuses on Cuban genealogy and history from a Cuban point of view. Aileen Vega always aims for accuracy with intrigue in her stories. This is an excellent listening experience!
There isnt much out there on the cuban experience and genealogy. I appreciate this deeper dive into the people instead of what you normally get which is just Castro Castro Castro.
So glad I came across this topic. The host has a warm & inviting voice that bodes well for any topic. Moreover, she definitively does her research, and manages to skillfully lay it out in digestible morsels. I want to hear more! Hope other minority groups in Cuba can be brought to light.
