  • Excellent, but…

…I’d appreciate being able to hear Evan and Jane finish their thoughts and comments without interruption. Otherwise, one of my favorite pods.

  • These people are smart but oh so smug

Please stop slapping each other on the back, plugging each others books and chuckling smugly. Just report the news and give your opinions, which are smart and appreciated, but are unfortunately diminished by the condescending antics. Fed up with libs acting the same as reactionary conservatives, just with opposite opinions.

  • I’m flabbergasted

With a straight face, you complain about Trump falling asleep.

Where were you during the Biden administration?

    You are hacks.

  • Donald Trump’s Imperial Birthday

I was rather shocked by the ageist remarks made throughout the episode (‘2nd childhood’!). You are at least 30 years behind the current and much more complex view of aging, personality, and decline. This reminds me of the 1970’s when women insisted on a different way of narrating girls’ and women’s experience, pointing out the subtleties and blatant sexism that was right in from t of our eyes. The same applies here: As Dr. Alex Comfort said in the ’70’s - you may not become a man or women, black... more

  • Overall, quite predictable

It’s fine, but I feel like I’ve listened to it before I’ve even listened to it. I am pretty well able to predict what the analysts will say. Fairly standard liberal establishment stuff here. Again, fine, but don’t expect to be surprised, challenged, or even much entertained.

Robby Hoffman Thinks There Are Worse Things Than Being Offended
Q: Have you ever been surprised by someone getting offended by a joke you thought was harmless?
Yes, she has faced groups that attacked her for topics like dog ownership or gluten sensitivity, but she emphasizes that she doesn't center herself as a victim and continues to push boundaries.
Robby Hoffman Thinks There Are Worse Things Than Being Offended
Q: How has your humor evolved over time?
She explains that stand-up allows her to be the most 'me,' and that her comedy blends personal truth with a broader social lens, evolving from kid-led antics to a more grounded, self-aware persona.
The Politics of the Big Game
Q: How did the UFC event on the White House lawn illustrate the era of 'spectacle politics'?
The event was described as a surreal fusion of a major political symbol with a pop-cultural spectacle, featuring loud sponsorships and a performative patriotism that blurred lines between governance, entertainment, and commercial branding.
The Politics of the Big Game
Q: Why was Trump's attendance at the Knicks game controversial?
His appearance was criticized for mixing a political figure with a sports event and for signaling a complicated relationship between the administration and New York, while also being viewed by some as an opportunity for shared national moment, depending on one's perspective.
Hillary Clinton on How Donald Trump Lost the Iran War
Q: Does the United States lose this war?
Clinton argues that the U.S. appears weaker and the Iran side has gained leverage, framing the outcome as a strategic and reputational setback rather than an outright victory for any party.
