  • Tool for political discipleship

Loving this podcast, and looking forward to reading the book. A disciple is always learning, to be shaped to be like Jesus-learning to do what he did. This topic has felt hard, and this podcast has brought it down to earth and really accessible. Thanks!

  • Theology plus application

I really appreciate how Michael takes theology and shows how we should live today in Christian community because of what we believe. In a season where political conflict and negativity seem overwhelming even among “Christians,” he calls us to a better, hopeful way to live. I can’t help but think that a lot of the problems today come from bad theology—thanks for calling us back to the way of Jesus and God’s good design.

  • Long overdue

If you long for a faithful Christian approach out of today’s toxic politics, Michael Rhodes’ Reimagining Biblical Politics offers you that and more.

Thru my almost 40 years as a Christian involved in American electoral politics, I’ve never come across a deeper approach to what the Bible says about politics and how God’s people should live in the world around them. I wish I had learned this when I started all those many years ago

The Story of Tarore
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about how the good news about Jesus arrived in Aotearoa, New Zealand, and how Māori responded?
Denise explains that initial faith was intertwined with practical skills and trade, with significant early literacy efforts through a Māori-driven translation of the New Testament. Over time, Māori embraced Christianity, while some missionaries aligned with colonial powers, causing mistrust and sparking indigenous faith movements in protest and reform.
