I was eager to listen because I remember this from when it happened. Unfortunately, there were a few inaccuracies. The worst and most important of which was that Megan’s last name was Poston — not Post. I also didn’t like the comment about people being “stuck” here. Insignificant notes: we graduated with roughly 400-500 kids, not 800. And CMHS was consolidated from two high schools — Barboursville and Milton — not four.
Boo to the haters!! Some people just don’t understand the magnitude of Crimes and Closets. To those I feel sorry. Their minds and hearts aren’t big enough to capture the magic of Beth and Cristy. Thank goodness there are plenty of closet sisters that do get it. We are blessed. To the rest I say, move along and don’t murder about it. Thank you Cristy and Beth!! I’ll be seeing you. Much love ❤️.
When I first found the pod, I tried to get into a few episodes. I thought maybe it was just me. I listened to the latest one after waiting a bit, and was disgusted. The "like" every other word as if they're still sorority sisters... completely unempathetic to victims and their families. Thank god youre hanging it up. There are podcasts that donate to charity and give back to a cause. Pods that reach out to families, to help and not to profit. Then there is this.
I love hearing your conversations it could easily be conversations between my best friend and I.
