The storytelling is engaging the research is solid and the tone feels authentic rather than sensational. It does a great job preserving regional stories while making them genuinely interesting and easy to listen to. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Appalachia mystery or well told stories.
I stumbled across JD on TikTok and immediately ran to my podcast app to start following the podcast. I work in Point Pleasant, WV and live in Meigs County, Ohio so hearing some of the history of West Virginia, crimes and haunted places is very interesting. This podcast is a must listen!
