I just had my say about music on the rig run down. As a review. So I’ll just say keep it up, love to hear some Australian bands and others as well. You’ll prob get a laugh or find it relevant with my comment / review but can only put it out there. To keep live music real bands and instruments alive. Before not only we loose the last of our greats but PC and bad comments about players singers just stop anymore greats becoming great. As plastic music has its place but if your not stunning to look... more
I gotta admit, I'm not a guitar connoisseur (I do play a little) but I stumbled across this podcast and was intrigued by the worst gigs ever episode. Then, I slid into the episode where Shawn talks about getting gear stolen and I was hooked. Shawn has sort of an Ira Glass feel in his intros but the stories are SO fun to listen to. Funny, surprising, kind of sad sometimes. And about a whole world that I don't really know a lot about. I'm def looking forward to listening to the rest of them!
Becoming disappointed that the producers have not kept up with releasing a new podcast each month.
This has quickly turned into one of my favorite podcasts. It takes a different slant on things and talks to a wide range of guitar player about different subjects. It goes beyond just the basic 'interview a top tier guitar player.' So far the episodes have been very creative and fun to listen to!
This podcast could be interesting but comes off a something one would listen to as a cure to insomnia. Great concept, poor excecution. Not a trainwreck of a podcast and some may like it but I found it very dull, maybe it will pick up in future eps.
