Excellent podcast with insightful and interesting interviews with new authors. Lots of tips on writing process and getting agented etc. Great for both writers and readers!
This is a must-listen for aspiring authors (and anyone who loves books). I’ve learned so much from it and always come away feeling inspired and keen to crack on with my own work in progress. Brilliant work Chloe - thank you so much!
Chloe is a great interviewer who is always extremely well informed about both the book & the author and asks really insightful questions. For any writer there’s lots to learn about how other writers tick and how varied the path to publication can be. Even if you don’t write but love reading you’ll really enjoy this behind the scenes look at books and their authors. I love it even if the pile of books on my bedside table threatens to crash over me in a tidal wave of stories any day.
I absolutely love Chloe's podcast and have listened to every episode. It's a must for all writers and would-be writers, with interviews with a vast range of debut novelists. I have particularly enjoyed the recent episodes touching on working class authors with Elissa Soave and Eve Ainsworth, and I've found some brilliant pearls of wisdom in many episodes. Chloe has an easy, brilliant interviewing style and draws the best out of each author. It spurs me on to keep writing, and inspires me to read... more
Chloe is a brilliant interviewer and finds a range of interesting guests. Perfect mix of soothing and distracting. The conversation has a friendly tone but remains focused (I don’t enjoy a rambly podcast). One of the best!
