Get out the prune juice and orthopedics because just like Daredevil in this three issue series, Josh and Travis are getting old. Tune in to find out what the boys think of Charles Soule and Steve McNiven’s take on the aged hero of Hell’s Kitchen.
Josh and Trav use the recent re-printing of the 2009 comic “The Nobody” as an excuse to go back and read one of their show favorite creator’s (Jeff Lemire) reimagining of the Invisible Man story.
Josh and Travis finish up the last of their four Absolute books with Absolute Martian Manhunter. Volume one written by Deniz Camp and illustrated by Javier Rodríguez takes the boys down a psychological journey that’s a feast for the eyes.
For their third “Absolute” book, Josh and Trav journey into Jason Aaron’s “Absolute Superman: Volume 1” where they engage with a Superman with a slightly different backstory. Will these changes highlight what is really super about Superman?

Just listened to the Gambit episode and I wanted to say:
First you charge the podcast, then you blow it up!”
This was so much fun to listen to and you could tell you guys were having a blast discussing it. Gambit is my favorite character (I see you Travis) and I was glad to see Josh get some appreciation out of the character ... finally! Look, the podcast is interesting, funny and just an all around good time. I like how there is always some form of factual information, some random unexpected ... more
Josh is there too
Josh and Travis are a blast. They bring a unique perspective and make you laugh while doing it. You can tell that they really love the material that they are reviewing and know more about the history of the artists and writers than just the characters. Thank you for this fantastic show!
The enthusiasm these bros have for comics and all things nerdy is truly infectious. Incredibly knowledgeable and always hilarious - Josh and Travis are delightful hosts who really got me excited about reading comics. A rad duo. Give ‘em a listen.

A lively book-club style show focused on comics and graphic novels, blending in-depth genre analysis with humorous banter and guest insights. Episodes cover a wide range—from superhero reimaginings and noir-influenced works to horror anthologies and creator interviews—often highlighting accessibility for new readers and the duo's enthusiastic, opinionated discussion. It's probably appealing to readers who enjoy nerdy culture crossovers, strong opinions, and recommendations that mix classics with contemporary indie titles. A notable strength is the dynamic host chemistry and occasional guests that deepen the conversation without losing its friendly, casual vibe.
