Congratulations team on your first year anniversary! Most of what I look forward to hearing is great content.
My disappointment lies with the increasing level of Stuart’s personal and political views. Please remember this is CLT1st and not Stuart1st.
It started out ok, but now it dedicates more time to trying to get you to gamble on their preferred app than on any of the actual news stories. It’s really too bad since it had so much potential.

A Charlotte-focused daily news program that covers local developments, city politics, transportation, and community services. Episodes frequently examine how federal actions—such as government funding and policy shifts—affect SNAP, food banks, schools, and local infrastructure, along with updates on local leadership, public safety, and sports. The show often threads in caregiving resources and community support organizations, making it practical for listeners who want timely, actionable information for residents and families. A notable pattern is the emphasis on solution-oriented journalism and aggregating local sources to present a compact, 8-minute to 10-minute daily briefing for busy readers and professionals.
