Always precise, comprehensive, and balanced. The NYT delivers critical reporting, without compromising.
I quit Up First after the constant joking and personal repartée between the hosts felt like it was killing me. Listening to The Headlines was pretty good for a while, despite their having a silly Friday news quiz, which I just ignored, until today’s podcast—Just horrified to hear the opening of the show be some kind of bad spoof on the news of Taylor Swift’s engagement. Is no jokes too much to ask of the news?!
It’s informative, quick. And like that it has a soul (a bit of humor and personality!)
You have 10
minutes to let us know the top headlines and you think a clip of Trump
babbling about how he wants to get to heaven is important?? We don’t need to hear his every thought. Unfollowed.
Nice to listen to on you work / school commute
