  • More info, less banter

It’s summary wire cutter article with annoying filler

  • Why are you laughing?

Good information semi-spoiled by the banter, most especially the frequent laughter over … nothing, in seemingly every episode. There was nothing funny about the mouse that left a trail of blood after suffering from the trap that didn’t kill it right away. But much mirth from the hosts. Thoughtlessly cruel.

  • Always Enjoyable

There are topics I find more interesting than others, but I always enjoy the show. It’s fun to listen to the women (mostly) chat about the topic at hand.

  • Great and a show idea!

Really great discussion and they offer various recommendations for different categories (low budget to more expensive, best use, etc). I WISH they’d do an episode on outerwear/exercise gear that is the best in having less chemicals. They did a camping one, but I’d like to know which running shorts are organic or low in PFAS, etc.

  • Sharp as a tack

I enjoyed this. Nicely done and approachable. I thought it was a shame you didn’t go into left handed blades a bit, having raised it. Does my W/c recommended Chefs Choice sharpener put a right handed edge on m knives?? I’d never stopped to consider that. I’m going to have to discuss it with my therapists before morning. Are you there?

Better Than Store-Bought: The Best Gear for Homemade Popsicles, Slushies, and Ice Cream
Q: Who should consider an ice cream maker and what texture do they want?
People who enjoy experimenting and want control over texture should consider an ice cream maker, with the choice between denser or lighter texture guiding whether to pick a bowl-style or compressor machine.
Better Than Store-Bought: The Best Gear for Homemade Popsicles, Slushies, and Ice Cream
Q: Why make your own homemade frozen treats versus buying at the store?
Because you can tailor flavors, dietary needs, and sugar content while experimenting with textures and recipes that aren't readily available in stores.
Are Robot Mops Actually Good?
Q: If someone is buying a robot vacuum for the first time, what would you recommend getting?
For beginners, start with a vacuum-only model in the mid-range that excels at cleaning and consider extra parts like filters and brushes to extend the life of your current device; if you want to dip into mop-capable models, pick a model with a strong vacuuming performance and a reliable mop function rather than the most features.
Your Headphone Questions, Answered
Q: Is call quality something you test for when evaluating 2000-plus headphone pairs, and how is that testing done?
Lauren explains a thorough testing battery that starts in a quiet room, adds wind noise by facing a fan, includes sink noises in the vocal range, and ends with a phone call to simulate real-world usage; only products passing all checks become picks.
What We Learned from Testing 40 Canned Cocktails
Q: Which are Antara's personal top picks for hosting a picnic or gathering?
Antara's top two favorites are the Southside gin-based can for its crisp, balanced, crowd-pleasing profile and the Jumo soju-based mango drink for its novelty and approachable flavor, with the Southside slightly edging out for versatility.
