Been following this podcast for a while but never really listened much. The Aqaba desalinization episode piqued my interest since I’m Jordanian.
Several problems stood out:
1. That Eurocentric snarky comment at the beginning is stupid.
2. Water tanks on roofs, wrong information.
3. Reasons for levels of water scarcity, you fail to mention the geopolitical problems with our neighbors which also play a major role in straining Jordanians water access.
This podcast acknowledges the danger of the climate emergency but they are clear on the mission to present the solutions. With good humour and well researched facts the team reveal the solutions that we as countries, communities, businesses and global citizens can be doing to make the changes needed. I throughly recommend listening and sharing!
