As a life long resident of the area this podcast tells the story just like I remember it. At the time I had 2 young children and everything in our world was turned upside down. The timeframe shortly after 9-11 was a vulnerable time the DC are. We had the police supervising kids being dropped at school. Recess, ball games, and Halloween were canceled.
