The Cat is a perfect host. Gibson is the good guy former player voice, Lance is a delight who has a great prick-ish side, and Holliday is the rich as balls former player who has a ton going on but when he graces us with his presence, he brings it. The former players have a good insight to the Cardinals especially and you can tell they do their homework.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Jeff Suppan joins the show! Personal life, 2006 playoffs... and brawls
Q: What do you remember most about the 2006 season and the playoff run?
Suppan recalls feeling durable and trusted to pitch deep into games, the team's belief and resilience in the postseason, and the sense of momentum that carried them through the NLCS and World Series, highlighting how health, innings, and mental toughness were pivotal to their success.
Oli Marmol joins the show! Lineup, Walker, Wetherholt, clubhouse more!
Q: What are you seeing from the young group, and how do you blend analytics with traditional teaching?
Marmol describes a balance: the young players are already inclined toward analytics; the staff maintains high standards and uses open dialogue to adapt strategies and teaching methods, emphasizing honest feedback and a winning mindset.
Is Jordan Walker back..? Can Gorman get going? ABS, Leahy, and bullpen
Q: What has Weatherholt done that's most impressive to you, John Denton?
Weatherholt has shown poise and ability to perform at the big-league level beyond his four games, displaying maturity, multi-way hitting potential, and quick adaptation to big-league pitching, which stands out as the most impressive early sign.
Reactions to Liberatore Getting Opening Day Nod, Matt Holliday's WBC Insight
Q: What do you think might be best for Walker—sticking with the big club for coaching time or going to AAA for more at bats and timing?
The decision should balance development and opportunity; if he can get regular at bats and face real competition, staying up could accelerate his growth, but if more refinement is needed, a stint in AAA could be beneficial for timing and confidence.
Reactions to Liberatore Getting Opening Day Nod, Matt Holliday's WBC Insight
Q: So there you go. You see Cardinal Territory breaking news ahead of the curve. Do you think Libby will go out there and have fun with it on opening day?
Yes, and I expect him to approach it with confidence, using his spring training momentum and the quality of his stuff, while the team supports him with experience and strategy to maximize the moment.
