Louder isn’t better, it’s actually annoying. At least Bull and Dustin knew when to reign in the other. Tough listen most of the time.

Nick Wilson isn’t for me. Dusty is good when he does show up (1/2024 appears to be going through a personal crisis so he gets a pass)

Kudos to the producer for getting good national guests. Not sure why the guests put up with Nick.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Dane Brugler: I think it'd be awfully hard to pass on Carnell Tate; there's a chance he might not be on the board at No. 6
Q: What does Dane think about the Browns at 6 overall and potential trades?
He believes the Browns could move back to address multiple needs, considering offers like 12 and 20 or 6 and 39, and he expects wide receivers or offensive linemen to be the core options if they stay at 6.
Ashley Bastock: Todd Monken has a lot of belief in his abilities to coach these QBs; he’s setting the standard high early
Q: What draft considerations are highlighted by the hosts in relation to pick six?
The discussion points to a balance between upgrading the offensive line now versus selecting high-potential talents in later rounds, with specific focus on tackles and the depth of the tackle class.
Ashley Bastock: Todd Monken has a lot of belief in his abilities to coach these QBs; he’s setting the standard high early
Q: Do you believe Monken's message signals a real forward push for the offense this season?
Yes, the tone suggests a concrete plan to develop players, especially at quarterback, and a broader intention to upgrade the offensive system and install his style rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
Eric Edholm: The safer route might be to go Carnell Tate at No. 6; I don’t know that there’s going to be a WR or OT taken ahead of that pick
Q: What would be the best case scenario with the quarterback situation and how might the rest of the roster adapt?
The guest suggests that the best case would be Watson performing well enough to boost the team while the drafted quarterbacks (Shadour and Dylan) develop, potentially leaving them as trade or competition assets depending on performance.
Eric Edholm: The safer route might be to go Carnell Tate at No. 6; I don’t know that there’s going to be a WR or OT taken ahead of that pick
Q: I mean, is there enough to gain with this situation? And my argument is the off ramp's less than 365 days away from here.
The host asks whether the Browns should pursue a path with Watson given a potential one-year window and the possibility of making a post-June 1 cut, while considering the quarterback room's current state.
