  • Ehh

Louder isn’t better, it’s actually annoying. At least Bull and Dustin knew when to reign in the other. Tough listen most of the time.

Nick Wilson isn’t for me. Dusty is good when he does show up (1/2024 appears to be going through a personal crisis so he gets a pass)

Kudos to the producer for getting good national guests. Not sure why the guests put up with Nick.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 3: Are you buying into Deshaun Watson’s comeback story? + Eric Edholm
Q: Where do you stand on Deshaun Watson's comeback story this season?
Eric Edholm explains that while there is excitement, the comeback is not guaranteed and should be evaluated over multiple games and seasons, considering both performance and surrounding context.
Hour 4: Nathan Zegura + What’s your bold prediction for the Browns?
Q: Do you have a bold prediction about the Browns this year?
A bold prediction is that the offense will be significantly more explosive and entertaining to watch than in recent years, driven by young skill players and a more dynamic approach.
Steve Tasker: Shedeur Sanders isn’t laying down in this QB competition
Q: What'd you think about Deshaun and Shedeur?
Tasker notes Deshaun Watson's experience and potential to return to form, while highlighting Shedeur Sanders' ability to compete and push for reps, showing a QB competition where the newer player is not going away and could influence the decision despite Watson's veteran status.
Hour 3: Steve Tasker + Shedeur Sanders isn’t going anywhere in this QB competition
Q: Steve, what's the biggest difference so far that you can tell from Sean McDermott going to Joe Brady?
The biggest difference is the emphasis on giving rookies and newer players serious reps with the ones, plus a broader push to a younger, more aggressive roster philosophy under the new coaching approach.
Jeff D. Lowe: The more the Cavs are quiet, the better odds they get LeBron
Q: Jeff, Francisco Lindor could be on the block from the Mets. Are you interested in a Francisco Lindor reunion with the Cleveland Guardians?
I'm open to any move that could help the team, and Lindor's a compelling name, but I doubt a return happens unless it clearly benefits where the Guardians are headed; right now they need more power and healthier lineups.
