He does a great job staying on top of breaking news daily and I know that’s a lot of work.
However, the more I listen, the more I hear the snarky attitude towards, not just the material, but fans that listen to his snark.
Terrible at taking criticism too, and addresses it, often in the show itself. The attitude ruins the listening experience for me. Sorry man
Every episode, Jeff mentions that it’s a daily Podcast. But it’s not. He averaged 1-2 episodes per week over the last six months. I know it’s the offseason… so why lie to the audience? I know of other “Locked On” shows that didn’t take the Summer off. It’s not the daily dose of the Dawg Pound. It’s the once or twice a week dose of the Dawg Pound. Hard to take his analysis seriously when he spouts nonsense like that. Bum.
Appreciate the hard work and consistency.
Hate to complain but that’s what reviews are for, right?
Part of being a professional is taking honest feedback under consideration
That said…Jeff has to stop saying “obviously“ so often. I cringe every time.
And the smoker’s cough is just not pro.
But hey, I’m a fan and I’ll keep listening regardless.
Great insight, not swayed by general consensus
I know it’s a homer podcast, but this host takes it to the extreme. Today (3/7/24) he literally said the Browns were a “successful team” that is ready to compete for it all in the AFC. I could agree with that second part… they are ready to compete. But a “successful team”? This organization has won one playoff game since it returned to the league. How can anyone take this guy as an even moderately objective voice?
