  • My thoughts

For many years has been my favorite Browns podcast. Cannot say enough about the work the Jake has done building a great show. Has had a few co-hosts throughout the years, but Jake has carried the show all the way through. Don’t listen much anymore, Brad is a great football mind and has sound takes on the Browns, but can’t stand hearing his nasally, mumbling voice. Sounds petty and unfair for what the show is meant for, but in “listening only” form, I just can’t do it. No shade, just my thoughts,... more

  • Best Browns podcast hands down

Jake is easily the most knowledgeable Browns podcaster. If you want a podcast that’s based on true ball knowledge rather than hot takes, this is the pod for you.

  • New Co-Host

Always been a fan of the show… much more informative than the beat writers or the talking heads. I definitely preferred it when Jake was flying solo though. They just seem to be on different levels, football-IQ-wise, and don’t really mesh well. It’s almost like they’re borrowing the old Locked on Browns format with Jeff and Pete. Brad Ward is a tough listen… and offers nothing to learn, but just basic opinions and then just usually agrees with Jake.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

BFB Post-Free Agency Subscriber Mailbag -- Part I
Q: Kyle asks if it makes sense to trade down if you don't get a 2027 pick; what if you could still get a 27 next year?
The consensus is that trading down is only worthwhile if a 27 first can be secured, otherwise staying put around the 24-27 range and accumulating a 27 asset later is preferred, especially if you can also preserve a second-round pick.
Browns Defensive Staff Promotions, Coordinator Introductions, and NFL Draft Deep Dive with ESPN's Jordan Reid
Q: Jordan, are there names you would pound the table for that might not be in the top tier?
Definitely, Lee Hunter and Avion Terrell are two prospects that stand out and could come up big during the draft.
Browns Defensive Staff Promotions, Coordinator Introductions, and NFL Draft Deep Dive with ESPN's Jordan Reid
Q: Jordan, what is your view on the draft process right now?
It's the peak busy season, and while the evaluations are mostly done, the combine is critical for confirming numbers and making adjustments.
Browns News Roundup, and Position Review and Look Ahead: Interior Offensive Line
Q: What are the latest developments regarding the interior offensive line?
The hosts discussed potential changes to the lineup, with speculation about Wyatt Teller's departure and considerations for bringing back Ethan Postic and Joel Bitonio, as well as exploring options for replacements.
Latest DC Update, and Position Review and Look Ahead: Wide Receiver
Q: Are there any free agents that make sense for the Browns?
