  • HQ for Cleveland Sports

I’ve been listening to these guys for all of my adult life (and I’m old) but I don’t live in Cleveland any more. This show helps ease my pain and I’ve been listening to this show since the beginning but I haven’t rated until now because I had to speak my peace.

The BA & BA (Brian Andersons) episode was TREMENDOUS! I had to pause the show multiple times to catch my breath and my face hurt from laughing.

Keep bringing Cleveland sports to the masses guys. Thank you!

I enjoy Jeff & Andy’s honesty. I also enjoy Packer Fan Dan as well chiming in.

Their perspectives are usually very well thought out, and communicated.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Scott Petrak: I expect Monken to have a QB1 in mind at the start of camp
Q: Scott, do you believe, do you think he'll have a clear-cut number one guy going into training camp?
Petrak explains that while Monken would love to have a clear leader, the plan remains flexible; wins and performance will drive who gets more first-team reps, with Sanders likely favored for long-term development but not guaranteed as Week 1 starter.
Hour 1: Are you happy with the Guards' start this season + Michael DeCourcy
Q: Mike, heading into tonight's championship, what has made this Michigan team so successful and how does their approach compare to UConn's?
DeCourcy explains that Michigan's balance and ability to execute game plans have made them tough to beat, while UConn's recent struggles under certain matchups show why the title game could hinge on adjustments and pace.
Tim May: I think the Browns have "great interest" in Carnell Tate
Q: Did you get a read on any Browns-Buckeye connection or interest?
Tim suggested that the Browns could have considerable interest in Carnell Tate given his physical attributes and production, though no firm visit or commitments were confirmed, and there was a sense of cautious optimism about OSU-to-Browns connections.
Tim May: I think the Browns have "great interest" in Carnell Tate
Q: What stood out to you most at Ohio State Pro Day?
The standout was Carnell Tate showing he can get open, catch consistently, and make plays after the catch, highlighting why many teams would be interested in adding him to their receiving corps; plus Julian Sayin's accuracy drew significant attention from scouts.
Hour 4: Chris Easterling + Debating Mayor Bibb's Vision for a Lakefront Sports Hub
Q: How are you leaning on the draft right now?
The hosts favor drafting a left tackle at 6 and the best wide receiver at 24, with continued consideration of other top targets like Cardinal Tate or Caleb Downs, depending on board and trades.
