Thank you for your encouraging sermon. On and off I welcome people to my home. I will add a more Christ centered approach.
I am always so encouraged and inspired when I listen to Pastor Brian’s teaching. I love his down to earth, easy to follow style of presenting the truth of God’s word. He is truly one of the best bible teachers out there!
Not part of the Calvary chapel movement anymore. It’s soo hard I go back and forth between Calvary and Calvinism; but Calvary Chapel is how I got saved via Radio teaching. Brian is one of those bible teachers that brings me to still waters. Bless you! Thank you for being balanced.
I just wanted to thank God for pastor Brian’s life. I was at the lowest ebb my life and just wanted to die.A friend introduced to the Lord and told me to listen to Back to Basic radio. I received the full revelation of the Lord God and had wondrous encounters with the Lord and matters of the spirit. I am a still with the Lord and growing daily. He is truly an amazing father, friend and a lover.
Thank you so much pastor Brian and hoping to meet you some day
Eleanor
One of the best down the middle bible teacher I've ever heard. Not too extreme not too liberal but just right. God has really used these teaching to minister to my wife and I. Thanks Brian.

Across recent episodes, the focus centers on biblical hospitality, discipleship, and the life of Jesus as interpreted through Mark, Exodus, and Advent themes. Listeners hear practical calls to welcome outsiders and the vulnerable, paired with earnest teachings on prayer, community, and faith in action. The format blends scripture-driven sermons with personal anecdotes, creating a warm, reform-minded approach to church life that aims to equip listeners for everyday discipleship and mission. A standout thread is hospitality as a posture that shapes belonging, both inside churches and in wider communities, framed by historical and literary references that ground contemporary application.
