  • Not Updating

For whatever reason, Pastors Perspective is not updating daily onto Apple Podcasts any longer, my preferred and most convenient method for subscribing and streaming. This is my all-time favorite podcast (5 stars). I’ve been listening for years and look forward to each new episode. This is disappointing (1 star).

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Pastors' Perspective-03/27/26
Q: What would you say to Christine about Isaiah 7:14 and the virgin birth?
The Hebrew word can refer to a young woman or virgin, but the New Testament clearly presents Jesus as born of Mary; context and fulfillment suggest the virgin interpretation is preferable, though the prophecy can be understood on multiple levels.
Pastors' Perspective-03/24/26
Q: Do you think the human body was immune to injury and pain before the fall?
The panel discusses that injuries and pain don't necessarily negate a perfect creation; they emphasize the unique theological point that before the fall there were only two people, and after the fall the world changed, but the question remains in the realm of hypothetical theology.
Pastors' Perspective-03/23/26
Q: Will we have telepathic abilities in heaven?
The hosts suggest that such an idea is speculative and not grounded in Scripture; they emphasize that the Bible points to intimacy with God through relationship and identity in Christ rather than psychic abilities, and they reiterate that God's plan centers on union with Christ rather than literal telepathy.
Pastors' Perspective-03/13/26
Q: Is it biblical that every Christian has a calling on their life, or can calling change with seasons?
There is a general call for all believers to live out the gospel, plus individual, season-specific callings tied to spiritual gifts and life circumstances; calling can evolve as one's life and responsibilities change.
Pastors' Perspective-03/17/26
Q: How should a husband respond in an unhealthy marriage situation?
seek pastoral counseling, commit to the covenant of marriage, invite God's guidance, and work through issues with humility and prayer.
