  • Intel

Great episodes on Intel cost analysis and Snowflake’s opportunity and vulnerability. On Intel’s spending spree,I wonder it’s not really a matter of business, or rather a matter of survival for US chip industry in case of war. It’s no coincidence how much TSMS share price fell after the war started and still not recovered like other tech companies did.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

RSAC 2026 preview: AI hype meets operating model reality
Q: What role will platformization vs consolidation play for large enterprises?
Platformization offers integrated capabilities across security domains from a single vendor, which can drive efficiency and scalability for large organizations, but may require careful integration and customization to handle diverse environments; consolidation is still pursued for simplicity and control, especially in enterprise-scale deployments.
RSAC 2026 preview: AI hype meets operating model reality
Q: How do you see the balance between automation and human oversight in AI SOC today?
Automation should augment rather than replace human judgment; the human in the loop remains essential for governance, provenance, and risk management, while startups and big vendors are advancing toward higher automation where processes are bottlenecked by data and workflow inefficiencies.
RSAC 2026 preview: AI hype meets operating model reality
Q: What are the AI security categories that should get real budget in 2026, and what is noise vs signal?
The discussion emphasizes governance, data quality, and a strategic focus on areas where AI can meaningfully reduce time to detect and respond, while avoiding bolt-on solutions. Priorities include identity governance, threat detection, and responsible AI deployment across DevSecOps, with caution around hype and a need for clear use cases.
theCUBE Research 2026 Predictions: The year of enterprise ROI
Q: What is the one criterion that we're going to use to determine whether or not your prediction came true?
Releasing code faster will happen because of this prediction, with a target increase in the percentage of organizations able to release code frequently.
theCUBE Research 2026 Predictions: The year of enterprise ROI
Q: How are we going to know when we look back?
We'll see that automation is going to be adopted more streamlined throughout the CICD pipeline, leading to faster code releases.

Episodes frequently dissect ROI and productivity from AI deployments, the evolving economics of GPUs and AI factories, and how platform shifts (service-as-software, agentic enterprises) reshape enterprise software and IT budgets. A notable trait is the emphasis on practical outcomes, governance, and measurable impact over speculative hype, with frequent references to industry players like Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, and OpenAI.
