I love your podcast but the chewing sounds in the last episode made me want to commit murder. Never do that again.
Entertaining when it’s about trivial things. However, any discussion that remotely touches upon more substantial subjects—e.g. cultures, political economy, etc—it turns into juvenile thought experiments derived from establishment talking points and narratives.
Better stay away from those topics since the host is apparently oblivious of the propagandized milieu of his media consumption.
To take this microplastics episode as an example, this is a 40 min show that doesn’t even begin to talk about the subject until 15 min in; then there is a total presentation of “both sithroughm when one of the “experts” is an ECONOMIST, not a health scientist, and literally no pre-research it seems done by PJ to actually discuss the growing consensus on the harm of microplastics, just incredulous “wow really???” when presented with easily google-able data on the petrochemical industry growth (no... more
