What a wonderful podcast. The episodes have helped articulate some of my own struggles with religion and more so church. A great listen. I appreciate all the stories and openness from all of the guest. Wow!
I love listening every week and learning more about peoples faith journeys. I grew up Christian, but not Evangelical, so there are a lot of references I don’t understand but Daniel does a great job explaining them. You can tell that Daniel really cares about people and genuinely wants to hear their story.
I cannot say enough good things about this podcast. I appreciate the candor and vulnerability of the guests and the trauma informed approach Dan takes in conducting the interviews. I have learned so much from each one but also appreciate with the heavy subject matter there are always a few moments of joy and laughter. Mostly I just love this podcast because it makes me hopeful, and I think so many of us need that now.
I really appreciate the authenticity and vulnerability of the host and guests of this pod. Dan, thank you for starting this platform and approaching the stories of these incredible individuals with thoughtfulness and intentionality. The willingness of the guests to share their thoughts, questions and experiences related to topic is extremely meaningful to me! Highly recommend!
I wasn’t raised Evangelical, but I find these conversations fascinating; in talking about their backgrounds with religion (and where they are now with their faith), the guests provide fascinating insight about their lives and their personal evolution that makes riveting listening. Check it out!
