You guys crack up over little things that are not portrait realistically in a show about time traveling .. That’s too funny.
However, also quite annoying and extremely dismissive. I have listened to the latest podcasts of yours and yeah, it was too much negativity coming across.
Thanks anyway. And good luck for future projects.
I’ve listened to Deck the Hallmark for years, and what originally made the show great was how unserious it was. It felt like a bunch of funny guys hanging out, making dumb jokes, talking movies, and fully embracing the absurdity of the whole thing. That self-awareness is what made it so entertaining.
Lately though, specifically Marvel Mondays, feels like it’s trying way too hard to become a serious movie-analysis podcast, and it’s lost a lot of the fun because of it.

My favorite podcast. A perfect blend of different personalities and passion that creates a very funny, fun, positive listening experience. Something good to look forward to, which is increasingly needed in this world. The “negativity” is all in jest and is quite humorous, and not actually negative at all. I also like the doses of reality and PSAs at times about how to be a good person.
This was one of my favorite podcast because of the laughs and giggles. But the negative comments from one of the podcasters has gone overboard for me. I feel he forgets he is a Hallmark reviewer and not a reviewer for PBS. His attitude has grown over the past few years. The show can still be fun and creative but the negativity was a downer for me.
I just typed a very very long review & I’m not sure if it posted or not, but on the off chance it didn’t, I’m going to keep it shorter this time around, lol. Basically I love hallmark movies. They are totally my safe space & my ultimate escape from the heaviness of this crazy world. I love that they are cheesy. They make me warm and fuzzy inside. Brandon understands lol. I also love that Dan can laugh at a lot of these & point out the insanely bad parts of the movie we all try to just look past.... more

A warm, banter-forward show that reviews made-for-TV movies and related pop culture with a tight-knit crew vibe. Episodes mix affectionate movie critiques, running jokes, and guest segments, often weaving in bits, live-show chatter, and community banter around Hallmark titles, Gilmore Girls revivals, and seasonal favorites. The format feels informal and personality-driven, with a strong emphasis on group dynamics, humor, and playful debates about storytelling decisions, production quirks, and franchise longevity. A few episodes branch into related TV franchises and occasional political or cultural riffs, but the core appeal remains the lively, communal hang with quick-witted hosts and rotating guests. This blend of lighthearted reviews, ins... more
